Swede Day 2008 - Rochester, WA






2008 will be the Summer of Festivals.  Our first outing was to Rochester to watch the Swede Day Parade - a delightful procession of large trucks, old cars, and heavy equipment decorated with various political candidates and church groups.

Food: n/a (bowed out of meatball and pancake feeds)

Big Freya is 2





Big Freya had a Dora and Boots birthday party with lots of friends and cousins.  

Abby and Hayden especially enjoyed the big Dora cake and making bubbles.

Thundereggs in Oregon






The Wearners joined us for a weekend in Redmond. Grandma Gullickson watched the kids while we did some mt biking, the off to drink some great Stumptown coffee at Thump in Bend. Our last day was spent hunting the not-so-elusive thunderegg.

Pt Defiance Safari




A safari trip to Pt Defiance Zoo with cousins Matt and Kaitlyn.  No Meercats,yet.  We'll have to go back again soon.
