T@bbin' at Taidnapam Park

Okay, so we rushed around getting ready for our first real camping trip in the new trailer and couldn't find the camera for the life of us. Found it right away when we walked into the house after the trip (of course), but anyhoo... Went to Taidnapam Park on Riffe Lake. Very nice campground, lots of trees and safely close to the lake. The kids had fun walking around, throwing rocks into the lake and eating marshmallows. Holly adjusted to the dirty stickiness of camping with only a little panic and we had a great time! Just a quick overnight trip - enough for us to make a list of what we needed to bring next time.

We're taking it down to Grandma's next weekend, with a stop at Ikea and Goodwill in Bend to stock up on extra "gear." The camera will be along, I promise!!

The T@b

We have officially joined the RV community with the purchase of a T@b trailer. Visit www.tabrv.com for more details. Ours looks like the center one in the photo - yellow and grey. Will post more photos of our adventures soon!

Chehalis Splash Park

We checked out the new Splash park today and after 15 minutes of watching, they both got soaked.

New Racetrack

Take your Clairiton and come push the kids up the hill to watch as they zoom downhill. They will be racin' the Busch series by the time they are 14.

New Piano

Thanks to the kindness of Laurel and Hans, we have reclaimed Holly's childhood piano for Hayden and Abby. So far a big hit especially the Hayden "Stevie Wonder" Gullickson (complete with weaving head).

4th of July

It was a busy but relaxing day. It started with a coffee and pastry at the Bakery then a visit with FarMor (Sorry, no photos). Then a BBQ on our front lawn with the Lawson/Rudds (Welcome Home, Tony) and the Wearners. Then it was off to the Summerfest parade in downtown Centralia (Lots of children running into the street for candy). Then up the hill to Adna to enjoy fireworks with Nana & Papa. The kids had a great time but Jeff & Holly spent the ENTIRE 3 hours shaving Mocha (Really Sorry, no photos).
UPDATE: To avoid CPS calls, just wanted to clarify that Matt is drinking Sprecker's Root Beer!
