Catching up

I've tried to update this from the past three months - will try to keep updated more regularly. Abby says "I went swimming with my water wings and I'm a good swimmer. I love to swim!" No photos from that outing, as I had my hands full with Hayden and Abby in the kiddie pool. Hayden is fearless!!

Cookie Time

Grandma Gullickson shows Abby how to make cookie cutter cookies with our alphabet cookie cutters

Rolling out the dough

Cutting out letters

Dad and Abby show off the finished, sprinkled letters. Yum!!!

Cupcakes for Abby's 3rd birthday!

As requested, we celebrated Abby's 3rd birthday (Feb 2) with chocolate cupcakes covered in red frosting and red sprinkles. Delish!

Fight Night - Elsa vs Hayden

Friday Night!!! Elsa "Sis" Wearner takes on Hayden "Muscle Man" Gullickson!!! Two scrappers in the under 30-lb division wrestling for the evening's entertainment!!! Nina the Ref kept it clean.

Star-pox

Hayden caught Amanda V's contagious sticker "star-pox" when she babysat for us. He seems to enjoy the disease!!

Exercise at Mom's Office

Hayden attacks a large physioball.

Abby the power-lifter-runner with blue sash of achievement.

Too much excitement for Matt!

Slumber Party

Abby and Kaitlyn had their second slumber party at our house on March 25 (I'm a little behind on posting!). Abby did pretty well staying up late, keeping Kaitlyn's hours.

Hot Cocoa

Abby enjoys her hot cocoa and chocolate moustache. Yummm!

Sliding!!

Abby and Hayden loved the "curly slide" at the school down the street from Grandma's house. We kept warm by going down the slide forwards, backwards, and even sideways. Fun!!

More Eggs

Coloring eggs and little hands!

Easter Eggs with Grandma

Grandma Gullickson showed Hayden and Abby how to color Easter eggs. Abby was especially attached to her dozen eggs, carrying them around for days like a little mother hen!
